From the first touch, each Zalto glass distinguishes itself from all other glasses. From the perfectly executed balance to the extraordinary design, the achievement of the Denk`Art line are glasses that seem nearly too delicate to hold, and yet they are made for just that. This is glassware that stands at the rarefied point where form meets function. This is art.

The development of the Denk`Art series was influenced by the earth in accordance to the tilt angles of the Earth. Thus, the curve of the bowls are tilted at the angles of 24 degrees, 48 degrees and 72 degrees.

This glass truly does work for most styles of wine, from a full-bodied sparkling wine, to an elegant white wine, and all the way to slightly powerful reds. In every case it will show the minerality and smooth character of your wine, and accentuate its complexity and finesse.

Many winemakers use the glass as a tool towards refining their blends, just as critics see it as part of their "kit" to properly evaluate a wine. We have heard it said that drinking from this glass feels like there is nothing between you and the wine.

If you are just beginning your Zalto collection, this is an excellent first glass to go with.

Handling & Care of Zalto Glassware

It is recommended that Zalto glasses be cleaned in a dishwasher. Hand-washing can add pressure and torque to the bowl, stem and base which can cause breakage and potential injury.

When placing the glasses into the dishwasher, do so carefully so there is enough space between glasses and they are secure.

Use minimal dishwasher detergent to avoid buildup of residue. The glasses themselves will never cloud with repeated washes. If residue buildup occurs, soak the glasses carefully in water that has denture cleaner in it. The glasses should not be exposed to prolonged amounts of hot steam once the wash cycle is over. Open the door to let the steam out. The glasses can be polished with a dry cotton dish towel or microfiber towel. Drying the glasses should be done carefully and without causing pressure or most importantly torque. Twisting the bowl while holding the base is likely to cause breakage.

***Avoid phosphate-free detergents as they may cause damage to the glass***
