The Wine Projects Administration (WPA) started as a desire to deliver great value by sourcing wine from some of the best growers in California. While it is a truism that you get what you pay for, we believe you should get more. Our label pays homage to the Art Deco WPA posters of the 1930s & our name, if you will, a new deal in wine.
With over 15+ years working in wine, owner Jared Heber has developed his palate at some of the top restaurants in the US – Canlis in Seattle, The French Laundry & Bouchon in Napa Valley, along with Mozza & Gordon Ramsay at the London in Los Angeles.
For our first release, we worked with consulting winemaker Ryan Zotovich to source Chardonnay & Pinot Noir from some of the best vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills. These are fresh & delicious wines with a sense of place. We hope you enjoy.
