Notes from the Winemaker:
The wine shows a deep garnet color, with aromas of raspberry jam,violet pastil and baking spice. Ripe strawberry and white pepper dominate the lush, round mid-palate. Beautifully integrated oak carries the fruit through the palate to a bright, long finish.
THE VINEYARDS:
This blend combines select vineyards throughout the Russian River Valley with fruit coming from Widdoes, Kozlowski, Mar tinelli, and Gregori along with Gaps Crown Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast. Together, these vineyards and their various clones create a complex, fruit forward and delicious Sonoma County blend. Clones include Dijon, 667, 777, 115, and Pommard.
