Veuve Clicquot's non-vintage rosé is the end result of a desire to create a rosé champagne with a delightfully luscious, fruit-based charm. Jacques Péters, the cellarmaster, and his team wanted a champagne that would be accessible and naturally engaging while conserving Veuve Clicquot's essential values in terms of style.

Made using 50 to 60 different crus, the cuvée is based on Brut Yellow Label's traditional blend: 50 to 55% Pinot Noir, 15 to 20% Pinot Meunier, and 28 to 33% Chardonnay.

The blend includes a particularly high percentage (25-35%, sometimes 40%) of reserve wines originating from several harvests (usually 5 or 6), which ensures the consistency of the house style. The reserve wines, some of which are 9 years old, are kept separately depending on the origin of the crus and the years in which the wines were produced. This blend is completed with 12% of red wines using red grapes especially raised and selected to give a marvelous balance to this rosé..

Ratings & Reviews

92 Points - Wine Spectator:
" Expressive notes of tangerine, yellow peach and cherry fruit is set on the lacy mousse of this fresh and focused rosé Champagne. It's well-balanced, with hints of toast point, anise and lemon thyme adding a savory edge to the finish. Drink now through 2023." - AN (Dec 2020)

92 Points - James Suckling:
" Very pinot noir, thanks to all the red-berry and spice aromas, with quite a bold flavor profile that also pushes a long way in the red-wine direction, without losing the elegance of good Champagne. It’s the delicate touch of the tannins that makes this balancing act work. Very well-integrated acidity. Drink now." (Nov 2021)
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"The latest release of Clicquot's NV Brut Rosé mingles notes of peony, red berries and orange rind with hints of dried white flowers and toasted bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming, it's supple and open-knit, with an enveloping core of fruit." - William Kelley (Apr 2020)
