About:
The White Coat (named for Larry’s past career as an Emergency Room physician) is composed of white Rhône grapes from three of our Estate vineyards across California. The rich, textured Roussanne from Rattlesnake Ridge on Howell Mountain in Napa is moderated by acidity and structure provided by the Grenache Blanc grown in the calcareous soils of the Pesenti Vineyard in Paso Robles. Finally, the blend is rounded out with a touch of refreshing, mineral Vermentino (also known as Rolle) from the granitic and quartz-laden Cobb Vineyard in Amador. The result is an exceptional, dynamic white wine that is truly California.
Aromatically the wine had ripe orchard fruits, a delicate floral note, and a hint of fresh hay. On the palate, the wine is a touch more full-bodied and textured, with flavors of nectarines, white pepper, and white peaches.

94 Points - - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2021):The 2021 The White Coat has a core of white peach, citrus blossom and green herbs with accents of cashew and biscuit. The medium-bodied palate features expansive, softly honeyed fruit and plenty of refreshing acidity to counter its concentration. It has an alluring, creamy texture and a long, refreshing finish. This is lovely on its own, but it will be versatile at the table.
