"About the winery:
A contemporary creation, Champagne Thiénot was founded in 1985 by negociant Alain Thienot. Part of the Alain Thiénot Group, owner of brands such as Canard-Duchêne, Joseph Perrier and Marie Stuart, it is based in Taissy, near from Reims and currently owns more than 30 hectare (74 acres) of vineyards. About half of these are in Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages, including Grand Cru Ay, Le Mesnil, and Avize; 1er Cru Dizy, Cumières, Pierry and Tauxières. About 60% of the grapes used are from their own vineyards. Thiénot also partners with growers among 20 different Cru vineyard sites, with long term contracts to supplement the supply of estate grapes.

Lemon shortbread, sliced pears and chalk on the nose, followed by a crisp, clean and lightly biscuity palate with fine bubbles. 100% chardonnay. Based on 2021 with 15% reserve wines. 4g/L dosage. Drink now.
