About the Whisky:
Fewer than sixty carefully selected casks come together to create The Glenturret 12 Years Old - crafted by hand and forming the heart of our range. American oak hogshead casks drive the dessert like sweetness whilst European oak layers the dried fruits and spices leading to a full rich single malt.
ABV: 46.4%
Tasting Notes:
Rich raisins and sultanas open, vanilla and cinnamon follow. Ginger and hints of nutmeg are warming. Hedgerow fruits and maturing oak closes.
Awards/Reviews:
95 Points - Intl Wine & Spirits Competition 2025
"Rich coffee and dark chocolate greet you at first, entwined with dried orange peel. The palate bursts with nutty sherry, spiced oranges, and a hint of peppery warmth. It concludes with a lingering, leathery finish, complemented by vanilla and caramel notes."
