The 2023 vintage was a standout year for Sullivan Rutherford Estate. We began with a promising start as spring rains replenished our vineyards, ensuring healthy vines and saturated soils. Throughout the mild, sun-drenched summer, temperatures hovered consistently between 72-75 degrees Fahrenheit, fostering optimal grape development. Despite the challenges of mildew pressures caused by the cooler vintage, our vineyard team's diligence and experience ensured that the vines produced loose clusters and small, concentrated berries. This exceptional vintage has yielded wines of unparalleled quality, affirming our estate's commitment to excellence.
