Aged 5+ years in new American White Oak 30 & 53 gallon barrels. No.2, No. 3, No. 4 & No 5 barrel chars.

Our mashbill is exclusively distilled for Smokeye Hill in Lawrenceburg, IN. Barreled, aged, and bottled in Colorado Springs, CO.

Tasting Notes:

AROMA: Creme brulee, vanilla, tobacco, leather, dark wood.

FLAVOR: Robust vanilla, caramelized brown sugar, honey nougat and oak. Rich tobacco, leather, and oak. 

FINISH: Long lingering finish of vanilla and caramel with honey.

And the thing is, in a blind tasting, professional judges loved it over some of the biggest A listers in bourbon. Nice rich flavors of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, baking spice and oak on the palate.  Finish is long and spicy but not hot for a 131 proof whiskey.  Delicious. Killer bourbon."
