About the Rum:
A beautifully aged rum hailing from Panama. All Autentico Nativo rums are made with local sugar cane grown in volcanic soil and distilled in a continuous copper and brass still at its Las Cabras Distillery. This example contains rums that have been matured for at least 15 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, with some older rums in the blend too.
Tasting Notes
Nose
Dried fruits, toffee, caramel, vanilla, and strong oak — intensely aromatic
Palate
Rounded and balanced — honey, oak, cocoa, warm spices, and orange peel
Finish
Medium to long, warm, and lightly spiced — lingering with elegance
