On the palate, a rewarding balance of luxurious texture creates evolving complexity. Forward notes of citrus, star fruit and nuances of minerality evolve to a harmony of texture, depth, and brightness.

Ratings & Reviews

94 points - Wine Enthousiast:

Sophisticated structure provides a foundation for this impressive white, lovely in rich layers of grapefruit, pomelo and passionfruit. Textured and lengthy, it shows the opulent mouthfeel of its oak fermentation and addition of 15% Sémillon.

93 Points - The Wine Independent:

With 15% Semillon in the blend, the 2019 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc sings of white peaches, pink grapefruit, and green mango, leading to hints of honeysuckle, paraffin wax, and mandarin peel. The medium to full-bodied palate offers soft acidity and loads of savory and saline layers over a citrus core, finishing with beautiful poise.

92 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Reserve ratchets up the depth and intensity over the base Sauvignon Blanc. It has a more Bordeaux Blanc-like nose of honeyed citrus, orange blossom, orchard fruits, and crushed stones. Beautifully textured and medium to full-bodied on the palate, it brings more depth, richness, and intensity, yet still stays light and lively on the palate, with a bright spine of minerality as well as a certain salinity on the finish that’s going to make it shine on the dinner table. This is beautifully done and well worth seeking out.

92 Points - James Suckling:
This has a lovely nose of ripe stone fruit, grapefruit and honey-drizzled lemon curd. It’s medium-to full-bodied and citrusy on the palate with tangy acidity. Intense cooked lemon on the finish. Drink now.
