About this Champagne:
Intense, fruity and aromatic, Ruinart Rose owes its sensual elegance to the marriage of Chardonnay (45%), mainly from the Chardonnay Premiers Crus of the Cote des Blancs, and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and Vallee de la Marne, made into red wine.

Tasting Notes

The nose is fresh and subtle, ripe with cherry and freshly picked red berries, followed by a splash of flowers and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is silky and delicately fleshy.

Ratings & Reviews

94 Points, Value Pick of the Week - Wine Spectator:
"Ruinart's offering one of the highest-rated rose Champagnes of my tastings this year deserves recognition for the house's ability to deliver consistent, exceptional quality at a fair price. And Ruinart's relationship with rose is notable, with historical documents marking the house as the first to sell rose in 1764. Today Ruinart is best-known for blanc de blancs from 100 percent Chardonnay, but the rose shows chef de cave Frederic Panaotis skill with Pinot Noir, blending 55 percent Pinot Noir, of which 18 percent was still red wine, with Chardonnay." - Alison Napjus (December 2020)

92 Points - James Suckling:
"Strawberry and pomegranate-infused yeasty autolysis aromas with freshly baked pastry and fresh bready notes. The palate has ripe peach fruits, strawberries and some hints of pink grapefruit. Sweetness, richness and a lively acid kick. Berry pie finish. Drink now." (October 4, 2017)

92 Points - Vinous Media:
"Light orange. Sharply focused red berry and tangerine scents are complicated by suggestions of allspice and cinnamon, with a hint of smokiness in the background. Sappy and minerally on the palate, offering fresh strawberry and blood orange flavors lifted by juicy acidity. Packs a serious punch but carries no excess weight and finishes stony and very long, with echoing red berry character." - Josh Raynolds (Jan 2015)
91 Points - Wine Advocate:
"The latest rendition of Ruinart's NV Brut Rosé is a pretty, vibrant wine that offers up inviting aromas of tangerine, blood orange, plum and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and precise, with tangy acids and a pretty mousse, it's ca harming, comparatively vinous wine that is already showing well." - William Kelley (Sep 2021)
90 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"In the generous style that is Ruinart, the wine is full with red fruits that are mouthfilling and rich. At the same time, there is a crisp streak of mineral texture that cuts through the wine to give a bright aftertaste. Drink this beautifully balanced Champagne now." - Roger Voss (12/2020)
