About the Winery:
Drouhin Oregon's Roserock is the newest chapter in the Drouhin story, extending from Burgundy's Cote d'Or and Chablis, to the Dundee Hills of Oregon, and now Oregon's Eola-Amity Hills. The Roserock Vineyard sits at the southern tip of the Eola-Amity Hills, in Oregon's Willamette Valley, and is marked by ancient volcanic soils, an ideal elevation range and the unique cooling effect of the Van Duzer corridor. This allows the vineyard to produce classic cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Roserock is LIVE-certified sustainable and is farmed by Phillipe Drouhin, fourth generation of this historic family.
About the Wine:
Our Roserock Chardonnay brings together the estate’s three Chardonnay blocks, which are handpicked and sorted. The Chardonnay is pressed immediately, and sent in equal parts to tank and barrel. Once malolactic fermentation is complete, Véronique assembles the two portions into her final cuvée.
Ratings & Reviews
92 Points - Wine Spectator:
"Dynamic and fresh, with brisk apple, lemon blossom and kiwi flavors that speed along the sleek finish. Drink now. 2,312 cases made." – Tim Fish (Mar 2025)
92 Points - Decanter Magazine:
"The Roserock balances the ripeness of this wine with a great mineral freshness. From the Drouhin, Oregon founded Eola-Amity estate, balanced between oak and stainless steel, its aromas of sweet lemon pulp and flinty crushed stone. The palate continues with lithe green mangoes, sea salt and thirst-slaking lemon pith." – Clive Pursehouse (Feb 2025)
