A Rich and Flattering Champagne

In honour of Louis XIV, who fostered champagne's worldwide popularity, the cuvée Roy Soleil, born in 2003, is the fruit of the imagination of a young team, who had begun to harness their talents. Chardonnays from our house vineyard plots in Le Mesnil have created this cuvée, a combination of old and new oak barrels. At least 3 years of bottle aging follows.

The delicate and elegant nose opens up to candied fruit (citrus, apricot) and gingerbread. Its woody forest bouquet develops with finesse unveiling a multitude of remarkable aromas. Its attack is mouth-filling, dominated by ripe citrus. This champagne offers a lovely freshness and a lasting finish worthy of the best wines.
