Ratings & Reviews

96 Points - International Wine Report:
"The 2015 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon is a total knockout in this vintage. It instantly opens with seductive aromas of ripe dark currants, blueberries, sweet exotic spices, violets, pencil shavings and tobacco all taking shape. Incredibly expressive, this full-bodied red is dense, layered with a gorgeous voluptuous texture that is nearly impossible to resist. It continues to display remarkable depth and concentration, with a mouthful of delicious ripe dark fruits and exotic spices that envelope the palate. This stunning wine comes to an end with a wonderful supple finish which shows tremendous length. While this is nothing short of absolutely stunning now, it will also cellar marvelously over the next decade or two. 2020-2040."- J. D'Angelo (7/18)

95+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"Inky purple-black in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Mt Veeder gives up notes of black currant pastilles, baked blackberries and mulberries with hints of mocha, underbrush and smoked meat. Full-bodied and completely packed with wonderful earth, fruit and savory layers, it has a rock-solid foundation of ripe tannins and refreshing acid, finishing with great purity." - Lisa Perrotti-Brown (31st Oct 2017)

93 Points - Antonio Galloni's Vinous:
"The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon (Mount Veeder) is by far the most refined of the wines I tasted at O'Shaughnessy. Sweet floral notes, bright red-toned fruit and mid-weight structure give the 2015 much of its distinctive personality and feel. Next to the other 2015s here, the Mount Veeder Cabernet is lifted, polished and impeccably gracious. O'Shaughnessy's Mount Veeder site seems to have handled the rigors of the growing season far better than Howell Mountain." - Antonio Galloni (Mar 2018)

93 Points - James Suckling:
"Lots of blackcurrant and rose petal character with hints of stems. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a flavorful finish. A solid wine with a future. Give it two to four years to soften. Try in 2020."
