We’re proud to resurrect our remarkable family recipe, with the first bottling since 1909. Painstakingly filtered through a mellowing bed of sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels, it’s easy to taste why Charles Nelson's wheated mash bill recipe and meticulous process set the standard by which all future Tennessee Whiskeys are judged. We think you’ll agree that it’s been well worth the wait.

"Bold and unapologetic, this clove-laden whisky shows ripe tree fruit of golden apple and pear, as well as caramelized sugar, grapefruit pith, and cinnamon in a young and fiery spirit that is a suitable mixer in most whisky drinks."
"A Tennessee whiskey using wheat (instead of rye) as the flavoring grain. New leather, mint, dusty warehouse floor, pink pastilles, gingerbread, caramel, and dark fruits on the nose. Cinnamon up front on the palate, followed by brown sugar, chocolate, raspberry, vanilla wafers, allspice, and black pepper. The finish is lightly oaked, with creamy vanilla, more cinnamon, and allspice. A delicate but flavorful profile, with balanced sweetness and spice." - Whisky Advocate
