About the Winery:
Château Minuty is the global leader in Côtes de Provence rosé, and beyond that it can be argued is the most important estate in the history of Provence rosé. The Saint-Tropez based, family owned estate has been, since its founding, one of the quality leaders for the region. Minuty then became one of the most visible producers in the second half of the 20th century, a result of quality production and commercial foresight when no one in the region could imagine the global phenomenon Provence rosé would become. And then in the last two decades, Minuty defined the vision for and led the unbelievable growth in Provence rosé around the globe. All this achieved by a family estate now in its third generation, led by two brothers overseeing all the vineyard work, winemaking and sales.

The current owners, the Matton brothers, have lived in the castle since their grandparents bought it in 1936. Gabriel Farnet was the first owner. The Germondi family then supervised the construction of Minuty in the Saint-Tropez area under Napoleon III. Currently, its 160 hectares cover the hillsides of Ramatuelle and Gassin. Gabriel Farnet has worked hard to plant new vineyards and build a new winery to ensure that the property continues to meet the high standards that made it one of the first 23 winners of the "Cru Classé des Côtes-de-Provence" in 1955. International grape varieties have mostly been replaced by indigenous varieties such as Grenache and Rolle, allowing us to move towards a more contemporary range of rosé wines. It is said that its rosé wines, based on Grenache, were made from the "king of rosés". The company's preferred trading partner, Minuty SA, supplies the Château's M and Prestige product lines.
