Ratings & Reviews
90 Points - Wine Spectator:
"Peach, honey and almond flavors abound in this rich white, with accents of apple and citrus. Open and viscous in texture, with a juicy, spicy finish. Drink now through 2027. 380 cases made, 112 cases imported. – Bruce Sanderson (Mar 2025)
90 Points - Allen Meadows' BurgHound:
"Here the nose is dominated by smoky and toasty characters. The notably finer medium-bodied flavors also coat the palate with dry extract while exhibiting surprisingly good power on the balanced and sneaky long finish. This is a very good villages-level PF." (Jun 2024)
90 Points - Jasper Morris' Inside Burgundy:
"All from the hamlet of Pouilly, from five plots at varying altitudes, 65-95 year old vines. Made in barrel, one new in 14, and bottled at the end of July. Mid lemon yellow. A pure white ripe apple fruit, notably more stylish than the St Véran. Long fine and fresh, some citrus, but mainly the ripe apple. This is a well-made Pouilly-Fuissé, with a light youthful bitterness which I take as a plus point. Drink from 2026-2032." (Oct 2023)
89 Points - Vinous Media:
"The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes comes from five parcels on the slope around the village of Pouilly, picked and pressed separately, vinified in 228-liter barrels. It offers touches of Mirabelle and jasmine on the nose, closed at first but opening nicely with just a few swirls of the glass. The palate is well-balanced with crisp acidity, a little spicy on the entry. Quite a feisty Pouilly-Fuissé with a touch of spice on the finish." - Neal Martin (Jan 2024)
