Tasting Notes:
The 2022 M by Michael Mondavi shows a deep ruby hue with soft rose at the rim. The nose opens with iris and violet, layered with black currant, bramble, cherry, and plum. Hints of tobacco, musk, wet earth, and anise add complexity. On the palate, vivid acidity and medium-plus tannins frame flavors of cola, cherry, almond, and licorice. The finish is long and persistent. A wine of structure and elegance, with excellent aging potential.
