This signature blend offers a singular wine personality, a delicate alchemy of spices and well-ripened black fruits, a delight for the senses.

“This cuvée is the one which captures the most the essence of the estate and my winegrower philosophy. My approach to wine has taken me on a quest to reveal the best of the terroir. We have made this wine with the greatest of care, taking into account the effects of both the earth and sky on the grapes and wine. While in the vineyard, we use only organic fertilizers, harvest the fruit by hand, and meticulously select our grapes. Once in the cellar, we practice gentle extraction and long, careful ageing."

Winemaker Notes:
Liberty by La Barroche, a "do it yourself" wine par excellence, is the joint expression of their desire for freedom. This slightly rebellious choice, guided by wisdom and experience, has led them to experiment with grape variety/soil pairings, rising above codes and standards to produce an excellent, characterful, sincere wine, which expresses their desires, ideals, temperament, creativity, and originality.

Ratings & Reviews:

89 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"charcoal and alder notes underscoring the broad swath of warm plum and raspberry paste flavors. Smoldering tobacco accents run through the finish. A bit rustic along the edges, but shows plenty of guts and depth. Best from 2019 through 2022. 130 cases imported." –JM (2018)
