From the Winery:
Timorasso La Spinetta is born from an ancient native Piedmontese vine. A wine of extraordinary structure and surprising longevity. The delicate notes of hydrocarbon play in concert with citrus and floral scents, which return to the taste.
Food Pairing:
Raw meat, fresh cold-cuts, warm and cold appetizers, first courses with strong flavours and white meat dishes. After a few years in the bottle, this wine is perfect with seasoned cheese.
Ratings & Reviews
93 Points - James Suckling:
A layered wine with a floral edge and vibrant, complex orange peel and orange blossom aromas that are polished and slightly minerally. Sharp and silky on the palate, with a medium body and floral, saline flavors. Cleansing yet precise. Drink or hold.
92 Points - Vinous:
The 2024 Timorasso is a very pretty, elegant wine. Lemon confit, white flowers, almond and light tropical notes are beautifully woven together. Floral, saline and petrol notes lift the finish, adding layers of nuance. This is a decidedly delicate Timorasso. It’s a style that works quite well. (Drink between 2025-2032)
90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2024 Timorasso Colli Tortonesi Derthona pours a bright golden yellow hue and offers a more resinous aromatic profile, with notes of golden citrus, ripe peach, honey, yellow apple, hay, and candle wax. Medium-bodied, the palate is zesty and chalky with saline lift, lemon oil accents, and a rounded midpalate. Aged entirely in stainless steel, it finishes savory and mouthwatering. Drink 2026-2030. 50,000 bottles were produced." A.F. (Apr 2026)
