About This Wine:

• Nebbiolo from 40-year-old vines located in Neive
• Bordini is a 4ha plot purchased by Giorgio Rivetti in 2006 directly from the last of the Bordini family, who farmed the vineyard for over 300 years
• Vines planted to calcareous soils at 240 meters above sea level
• Aged 18 months in used French barriques
• Bottled unfined/unfiltered and aged for an additional year in bottle before release
• 1,083 cases produced annually

• An explosion of fresh perfumes, with raspberry and rose nuances. Red fruit flavors well integrated with aromatic, light and delicate aromas. Fine tannins and breathtaking elegance.

From southeast-facing vineyards purchased in 2006, the 2023 Barbaresco Bordini pours a transparent ruby hue. Aromas of pomegranate, strawberries, delicate spice, baked earth, and sweet herbs emerge from the glass. Medium-bodied, the palate shows smoothness and finesse from the sandy soils and relatively younger vines, though it closes with a touch of grip and tension.
