Introducing the fourth edition of our multi award-winning Batch Strength Series. If youve had a dram of Batch Strength 001, 002 or 003 then youll have an inkling of whats in store for you. Rich natural color and exclusively sherry cask matured intensity.

As with each batch in the series, Batch Strength 005 is distinctive and differs slightly in style and strength, so your first sip is sure to hold some anticipation. Batch Strength 005 is bottled un-chillfiltered at natural color and at 57.8%. Undoubtedly, a malt that whisky connoisseurs would be proud to have in their cabinet.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Elegantly spiced oak, with warming vanilla and freshly-shelled nuts on the nose.

Palate: An explosion of summer berries and cream, while a splash of water brings out warm biscuits, oak spice and candied orange.

Finish: The rich spiciness builds to reveal sultanas, citrus zest and brown sugar, delivering a long, rewarding farewell.

"Slightly darker amber. Butterscotch, cloves, dried fruits, ginger and vanilla on the nose. Gingersnaps, dark chocolate, light brown sugar, raspberry, dates, orange zest, nutmeg and cinnamon on the palate. There’s a spiciness coming from both the oak and the alcohol that can be tamed with a few drops of water – but it’s not essential."
