About the Distillery:
A British gentleman, Anthony Hardy (also known as Antione Hardy), founded Hardy cognac in 1863. Five generations later, the house of Hardy is still recognized for its premium quality cognacs and a smooth, lightly-oaked taste.
In 1869, Hardy's Cognac Fine Champagne was awarded the Diploma of Excellence at the Amsterdam exhibition, richly-deserved recognition of his commitment and passion for the ‘nectar of the gods’.
By 1880, Anthony Hardy was already exporting his creations far and wide. In 1891 the St. Petersburg Exhibition awarded the prestigious gold medal to Hardy’s ‘Cognac de l’Alliance’, created as a tribute to the longstanding alliance between France and Russia. Maison Hardy’s distinctive identity was beginning to take shape and win plaudits.
About the Cognac:
Legend 1863 is a tribute to the world of Cognac and the Hardy family. The worthy successor to the Napoléon cognac, it pairs the elegance of Petite Champagne with the finesse of Borderies.
A unique bottle with an attractive design which show the rooster, the symbol of the brand and France. An exceptional quality. Bouquet: Citrus, coffee-cappuccino with vanilla hints
Grape varieties: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard
Production: A fine selection of eaux-de-vie with Petite Champagne, Fins Bois and a touch of Borderies.

"Amber color. Aromas of pecan praline, creme brulee, and brown butter with a velvety, vibrant, dry-yet-fruity light-to-medium body and an effortless, compelling, medium-length brown sugar, proscuitto, caramel-drizzled salted almonds, pretzels, and milk chocolate finish. A rock-solid cognac with rich caramelly notes that mingle with elegant and mature character."
