Character, distinction, and beauty all in one piece. Mezcal Clase Azul Durango Edition is made from Cenizo Agave, a variety of plant that grows wildly in the state of Durango, a region of northern Mexico. The mineral richness of its soil and natural springs sources bestow distinctive strength and complexity to its notes. The distillate is completely artisanal, giving it a remarkable profile and paying tribute to the millenary tradition of making mezcal.
100% Maguey Cenizo
COLOR: Bright crystalline with silver sparkles
AROMA: Citrus and herbal, green olive, cooked agave, and cloves.
FLAVOR: peanut, brown sugar, honey, wood, chocolate, and notes of ripe fruit.
Pairing: Orange slice, intense and aged cheeses, chocolate-cocoa, and figs.
Decanter: The raw beauty of black clay inspires its dark and textured decanter. This special edition is hand-sculpted by artisans from a small community of the Mazahuas in Mexico. Artisans from the Huichol (Wixárika) people are the creators of its unique and colorful cap.
The Clase Azul Decanter is hand molded ceramic and very fragile, being known to break during shipping in the past. An added cost will be applied to the shipping price to provide adequate padding and insurance coverage for the bottle. We only ship via air methods to addresses outside of California.
