Isole e Olena’s Cabernet Sauvignon has a profound and intriguing soul and yet is also charged with Chianti Classico vitality. Produced in small qualities, the grapes used for this wine grow on vines that are more than twenty years old.

Deep ruby in the glass, it reveals a broad, fruity and spicy olfactory picture on the finish. On the palate it proves incredibly enveloping, elegant with persistent and long tannins. It matures in barriques for 1 year, of which one third new, one third second-passage, one third third-passage, and ages for about 2 years in bottle.

"The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Collezione Privata is another stunning wine from the Paolo de Marchi era at Isole e Olena. It offers tons of varietal character, vertical structure and class to burn. It is also a very, very young wine to bury in the deepest corner of the cellar. Dark red-toned fruit, dried flowers, leather, menthol and rose petal all soar out of the glass.
