Distillery Notes:

Our flagship Isle of Raasay Single Malt Whisky, 46.4% ABV, no color added, non-chill filtered. Lightly peated with rich dark fruit flavors. Two Isle of Raasay spirits – peated and unpeated – are matured separately in first fill Rye whiskey, fresh Chinkapin Oak and first fill Bordeaux red wine casks. Our six recipe casks marry together to create the perfect dram with real elegance, complexity, and depth.

"Sweet ripe bananas and sliced apples, with whiffs of bonfire smoke and maritime notes of seashells and an old wooden rowboat, then chalkiness on the nose. Honeyed and silky on the palate, with sweet peaches and spice, and darker fruit notes of blueberry compote. It’s a hot one, though not overly so. The finish is chocolaty and spicy, with good length. This is a hearty scotch with great balance and subtlety."
