A celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage and the timeless spirit of Diwali, the Diwali Collector’s Edition 2026 brings together the artistry of contemporary Indian whisky making and the vinous elegance of Ruby Port wine casks.

The fourth release in Indri’s annual festive series, this rare expression is crafted from Indian six-row barley, distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured in hand-selected Ruby Port wine casks from Portugal in the subtropical climate of northern India. 

Released in a limited number of individually numbered bottles, it is a distinctive expression of depth, complexity and elegance — a confluence of Indian craftsmanship and Portuguese cask character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: An inviting bouquet of fresh black and red fruits, led by black cherries, blackberries and ripe plums. Layers of raisins, figs and dried fruits unfold beneath, complemented by notes of toffee and vanilla that lend a rich, lingering sweetness to the nose.

Palate: A burst of luscious fruit and honey greets the palate, evolving into rich notes of dried fruits, almonds and hazelnuts. Hints of cinnamon, sweet spice and oak lactones add depth and complexity, while nuances of figs and licorice emerge gracefully, creating a beautifully layered experience.

Finish: Full-bodied and velvety, with rounded sweetness and a firm structure. Gentle oak lactones linger alongside rich fruit notes, culminating in a long, smooth and elegant finish.
