OUR TRADITIONAL STRAIGHT BOURBON IS UNDENIABLY SMOOTH AND MADE FROM SMALL BATCHES OF 2-4 YEAR OLD WHISKEY. HORSE SOLDIER® BOURBON IS NON-CHILL FILTERED TO PROVIDE A FULL BODIED AND DECADENT FINISH.
Mash Bill: 65% Corn / 30% Rye / 5% Barley
Two row, combination distillers malt and base two row. Water from limestone aquifers carefully filtered for purity. Grain, water, yeast and wood without additives or artificial colors.
Tasting notes
Caramel, toasted corn, oak, cinnamon and dark fruit nose. The taste is fantastic with hints of oak, vanilla, nutmeg, some mild black pepper spice, and a light bit of honey. Good balance, medium body and a warm spicy feel.
Pairs well with
While it can be used in mixing in elegant cocktails, it is meant to be sipped Neat or with Ice. Cocktails – Sazerac, Old Fashioned, and the Manhattan
