About the Whisky:

Highland Park 25 Year Old Spring 2019 Release has been created from fewer than 20 sherry seasoned European oak casks, first-fill ex-bourbon casks and refill casks, hand-selected by our Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, from a small treasure of suitable casks. Over time, each cask has developed its own distinctive character, and the culmination of this marriage is a brilliant flavour profile of rich vanilla and honey fudge against a backdrop of smouldering Orkney peat and salty sea spray.

We’ve been crafting our award-winning single malt whisky at the Highland Park Distillery in Kirkwall, Orkney, since 1798. Age, experience and respect for tradition may define our whisky, but it’s Orkney that sets it apart. Something magic happens here and the result is the wild harmony of flavours found in our whisky.

"A beautifully fragrant dram, intensely honeyed, with sunflower seeds, coconut cupcakes, and vanilla buttercream frosting, fruity sherry notes of cherry, summer berries, orange peel, zesty lemon and lime, aniseed, and ashy smoke. Its flavors are fresh and bright, bursting with citrus peel, sweet orange, lemon zest, and warm honey, leading into spiced orange, sweet berries, apricot, toffee, and milk chocolate, with a lengthy finish of smoke and peppery spice."
