Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe mango, ruby grapefruit, spiced apple cider, piloncillo sugar, anise, allspice berries, mesquite wood, sunset walk through an agave field

Palate: Baked pear, charred peaches, cooked agave, ginger molasses cookie, freshly fried churro, orange blossom, cinnamon bark, black licorice, oak, leather

Finish: Pink peppercorns, dark agave honey on a sopapilla

"Honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, candied strawberries, mint, and eucalyptus on the nose. Water brings out heavy notes of dark chocolate and lightly smoked grains. A sweet, smooth finish offers tobacco leaf, creamy vanilla, and generous pepper spice. Full bodied and well made." 

"Despite the clear Amburana influence throughout, the tequila finishing comes through nonetheless. In fact, you get all the individual parts with this finished whiskey: Rye spice and dill from the base rye blend, gingerbread cookie and brown sugar from the Amburana finish, and tequila, citrus, and dried fruits from the añejo finish."
