Notes from the Distillery:
Älv is the Swedish word for River. Outside our front door runs the beautiful river Ångermanälven, the heart of the High Coast region and essential to our distillery. We are able to make such elegant whisky thanks to the naturally cold, crystal clear water sourced from the river.
Älv — a well-balanced soft single malt with vanilla tones. Älv is our most elegant whisky.

About the Whiskey:
Origins is a tribute to our beginnings and our heritage from the banks of Ångermanälven river, where it meets and becomes part of the sea, where generations have worked with timber rafting alongside the dramatic mountain landscape of the High Coast.

Älv consists of 100% unpeated whisky which has matured in first fill Bourbon barrels

Aroma - Vanilla, Coconut, and Sponge Cake

Palate - Sweet vanilla, Mature Pear, and Apple

Finish - Long sweet vanilla notes

Light creamy mouthfeel with vanilla, marshmallow, honey, and Scottish tablet, developing hints of marmalade and fruit Life Savers before a long, sweet, vanilla-led finish. Named for the Swedish word for river, this is utterly delicious and makes an elegant impression."
