About the Whiskey:

Whiskey Pioneer & Founder Steve Groth and his two sons collaborated with 7th-generation Master Distiller Ron Call and his two sons, Clayton and 8th-generation Master Distiller Jacob – to author a new whiskey masterpiece and further their legacy with Hemingway Whiskey.

A Blend of Straight Rye Whiskeys finished in rum-seasoned Oloroso Sherry Casks.

90% — 6 y/o Indiana Straight Rye Whiskey (95/5)

10% — 4 y/o Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (95/5)

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ryegrass, vanilla, raspberry, raisins, baking spices and oak wood.

Palate: Big bold notes of orange and
other assorted dark fruits balanced perfectly with hints of chocolate and caramel all balanced perfectly with plenty of spices like clove and nutmeg.

"Ernest Hemingway once said, “Never delay kissing a pretty girl, or opening a bottle of whisky.” This rye made in his name is finished in sherry casks that are seasoned with rum, a nod to his drinking days in Cuba. It’s a blend of 6 year old Indiana straight rye and a touch of 4 year old Kentucky straight rye. The result is a rich, complex whiskey with aromas of vanilla frosting and fresh rye grain. The creamy palate serves up flavorful notes of red berries, honeycomb, coffee bean, almond paste, and nougat. A lovely, smooth rye."
