From Glengyle: Springbank's Sister Distillery. The Campbeltown distillery's oldest ever release!

AGEING: 98% Bourbon and 2% Madeira casks

NOSE:  Minerals, lemons, digestive biscuits, roasted almonds, and earthy notes. Linseed oil, herbs. A slight dry, sour edge from the Madeira influence. Grassy, floral, zesty citrus.

PALATE: Rounded with sweetness and subtle dried fruits on top of the sooty, mineral, peppery spirit character Balance and complexity with lots of Mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary) and brine, alongside the earthy peat.

FINISH: Lingering oak and a hint of chocolate.

PROOF: 92 (46% ABV)
