Distillery Notes

A handcrafted, small-batch bourbon that's been aged 8 years and blended to perfection. The liquid boasts sweet initial notes of vanilla leading into bright hints of cherry and orange before being balanced by almond toffee and oak. At 90 proof, bourbon enthusiasts can best enjoy Dickel Bourbon neat or on the rocks, in addition to mixing it into some of their favorite cocktails, like an Old Fashioned.

MASH BILL: 84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malted barley

PROOF: 90 (45% ABV)

Tasting Notes

Nose: Sweet nuttiness, peanut butter, creamy toffee, fresh vanilla bean with roasted coffee bean and sweet tobacco

Palate: Caramel corn, almond butter, rye spice, black pepper, red chile flakes, caramel candies, oak char

Finish: Balanced and complex, lingers pleasantly

This is notably a bourbon rather than a Tennessee whiskey, though the criteria for the two styles mostly overlap. The nose is nutty and well spiced, with caramel corn, toasted pecans, cinnamon graham crackers, cherry tart, and butterscotch candies. There is a friendliness to the palate that makes it ideal for outdoor imbibing, with notes of spearmint, mixed berries, nougat, and honey.
