Situated between Bassin de Thau and hills of pines, the vineyard of La Croix Gratiot is on the village of Montagnac. The vines planted on a loamy-limestone soil profit from the marine trade winds and the scents of the scrubland. This microclimate allows the grapes to reach an optimal maturity and to fully express the typicity of the grapes varieties during the different process of winemaking.

The estates produce AOC Languedoc Picpoul de Pinet and IGP Pays Oc. Yves and Hugues own the vineyard for 25 years, and decided in 2004 to create the winery. Since 2007, their daughter Anaïs Ricome oversees the team for winemaking and sale of wine.

100% Picpoul, this bright, pale lemon-yellow with glimmers of green entices and refreshes. Aromatic and fresh, with notes of crisp citrus fruits like lemon and lime, complemented by green apple, white flowers, and a hint of saline minerality, reminiscent of sea breeze. Light-bodied, refreshing, and vibrant, with zesty acidity that delivers a clean and crisp mouthfeel. The citrus notes carry through, supported by flavors of green pear, and a subtle herbal quality. There's a slight minerality that adds complexity and depth, lending the wine a refreshing, coastal character. The finish is crisp and clean, with lingering citrus zest and a touch of salinity, making it quite refreshing and easy-drinking. A gulpable and refreshing wine with a lively profile, ideal for the break in the weather, seafood, or crunchy vegetables. Its crispness and minerality make it delightful with oysters or grilled fish.
