Ratings & Reviews
"Full, chewy, gripping, tart and dry with notes of plum, cherry jam, black licorice, dried herbs, vanilla and cedar. Vegan. C.F."
93 Points - Wine Enthusiast Magazine:
"Aromas of eucalyptus join ripe red berry, rose, new leather and dark spice. Elegantly structured, the focused, taut palate exhibits crushed raspberry, star anise and menthol alongside firm, fine-grained tannins. Fresh acidity keeps it vibrant and balanced. Drink 2025–2033." - KK (9/1/22)
92 Points & #78 Top 100 of 2022 - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"This is a lovely expression of cherry, rose and mineral flavors, with freshness and purity. Shows a solid underpinning of dense yet refined tannins. Long finish. Best from 2025 through 2042. 5,100 cases imported." - BS (Dec 2022)
92 Points - James Suckling:
"A tinge of orange to the cherry color of this. Slightly musty, but pleasant aromas of dried cherries and raspberries with hints of leather and dust, as well as dried flowers. Medium-to full-bodied with a good core of fruit and fine tannin and plenty of acidity. Long, bright finish. Vegan. Sustainable." (Feb 2022)
