Vinification: Controlled temperature fermentation and maceration in conical oak tanks
Aging: 15-18 months in new french oak barrique and tonneaux
Bottling: No fining, no filtration
Serving temperature: 16°-18° C

"The dried flowers are wonderful in this with a violet and rose petal character. Dark fruits, too. Full body, dense and chewy with dusty texture from the ripe tannins. This has an energy and focus that keeps your attention. Better in 2020 but great to taste already. Made from biodynamic grapes and Demeter certified." (Aug 2017)

"The beautiful 2015 Cabernet Franc Duemani shows the heat of the summer growing season in a bold and upfront manner. The wine is impenetrable and inky dark in appearance. It is not jammy per se, but that brilliant Tuscan sunshine seems to bubble up from inside the dark fiber of this thickly extracted expression. Cabernet Franc by careful selection in the vineyards, with great fruit, aristocratic tannins and complexity. The result is superb: mulberry, rosemary, brush and Mediterranean scrub. Sumptuous balance and impressive length.
