Tasting notes:
The nose is still very flattering, rather airy and mineral. Aromas of small red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant) dominate. The slightly acidic palate is fresh and the tannins are rather supple. Drink within 5 years.

Wine and food pairing:
This wine, full of tension and minerality, goes very well with meats in sauce and cheeses.

Ladoix «Les Carrières» 2022 : The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose offers tension, a tangy side of fruit (red cherry, dried cranberries, dried raspberry, tangy strawberry), as well as distinct herbal notes (dried mint, dried blackcurrant leaf, fresh mint in the background), touches of licorice and grated nutmeg, as well as fresh rose and pine bark in the background. The palate is juicy and enveloping, while remaining fresh and refined. The attack expresses the flavors of ripe tangy fruits (red cherry, raspberry, tangy strawberry, cranberries, a hint of blackcurrant in the background), complemented by notes of licorice, nutmeg, fresh wild mint and dried bouquet garni in the background, completed by a powdery touch of cocoa and a hint of chalky minerality on the persistence. The acidity is fresh and mouth-watering, the tannins are melted and polished. A pleasant, accessible wine, with a certain concentration and elegance. Good length on the gourmet notes of morello cherry and blackberry.
