About This Wine:
Proprietor Michel Duffour has run his family’s estate since the 1980’s. In addition to making wines, the estate is also revered for their Armagnac, a specialty of the region. Armagnac is distilled, but the base for it uses the same grapes that go into this wine, and Michel's father planted most of these vines back in the 1960's.
These old vines yield an intensely aromatic wine with concentrated flavors. Exuberant aromas and flavors of melon and pure citrus meld seamlessly with herbaceous notes in this dry and vivacious white. A bit weightier than Sauvignon Blanc, but still super fresh and clean, I love drinking this one nicely chilled on hot and sunny summer days.
