Domaine Sautereau is a small estate that produces high quality Sancerre. Situated in the village of Crézancy 7km from the town of Sancerre, this 18 hectares estate has been producing Sancerres for ten generations.

Winemaker David Sautereau uses a blend of age-old practices and modern techniques to show the terroir characteristics of Sancerre at their best. David studied winemaking in Burgundy and Champagne, and did a few internships in Switzerland, California, and Australia.  Working closely with his parents, he made his first Sancerre harvest in 1997, committed to perpetuating the family know-how while adding new techniques to make the most of their terroir

TASTING NOTE:

This zesty Sauvignon Blanc has attractive aromas of melon, pear and rhubarb with a crisp and refreshing palate including the signature aromatic notes of gooseberry and honey alongside the herbaceous character of bell pepper. An exceptionally diverse food wine and also represents excellent value for money when looking to explore this famous region.
