About the Winery:
Jean-François Ranvier and François Dauvergne teamed up to create a very unique approach to building a brand focused on quality from vine to finished wine.

Winemaker's Notes:
The nose will willingly show up after one hour of opening. It evokes black fruits, new leather and curry. After even more airing you will find hints of singed wood, coffee and pepper coming out.
The palate is not less eloquent. It is warm and without any aggressiveness, but kind and subtle. It’s well structured and pure. The finish concludes naturally and encourages starting again.
It matches joyfully simple dishes like a duck-Parmentier, roasted veal with carrots or an osso bucco.

Ratings & Reviews

91 Points - Wine Spectator Magazine:
"Focused, with a lightly woodsy frame around a core of dried plum, crushed blackberry and licorice root notes, this has good energy through the gutsy finish, expanding to show bay leaf, tobacco and chestnut accents. Best from 2019 through 2025. 150 cases imported.” –JM (Jun 30, 2017)
