The Blunt Blend, "Dark Arts" batch #2 offers a unique blend of 8-year old cask strength rye whiskey, finished in Armagnac and Madeira wine barrels. It showcases a rich tapestry of flavors not commonly found in traditional rye whiskey.

• 95% Rye, 5% Malted Barley

• Originally distilled in Indiana, Finished, blended and bottled in Lexington, KY

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Notes of Jamaican pepper, white grape, hibiscus, licorice, pear, coffee, and dried berry.

Palate: Reveals pine resin, manuka honey, white pepper, chewy caramel, toasted oak, white grape, green apples skins, and hazelnut chocolate.

Finish: A lingering essence of resin-like rye spice and an oily mouthfeel. Initial flavors of apple, pear, and the earthiness of manuka honey transitions into soft tannins and caramel before gently fading with hints of resin, chocolate, and fruity terpenes.
