About This Wine:
Crucero Varietals have a spectacular appeal in color and flavor. They are round, very intense, and juicy.
Fairly intense and a bit exotic and cooked on the nose. Cassis and a touch of spice. Blue/purple color. Intense bouquet with scents of cassis and a touch of spice. Explosive fruits on the palate, with good structure, definition and balance. Impressively fresh with a nice finish. Clean, round and flavorful wine, very appealing.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar:
"Bright ruby color. Cherry and dark berry aromas are complemented by notes of cracked pepper and clove. Gently sweet, palate-coating blackberry and candied cherry flavors turn slightly bitter with air and pick up a dusting of fine-grained tannins. Less thick and weighty than most Australian shirazes at this price point. Finishes with good length and lingering sweetness." - Josh Raynolds (Mar/Apr 10)
