Its success has convinced and then repeats itself year after year respecting its character and its personality: zero dosage, Pinot noir in white, disgorgement of the vintage which is believed to be ready regardless its age. After 2002, 2004 and 2006 and now 2005: the decision of enhance the evolution of individual vintages, to assess the ripeness, as well as zero dosage and Pinot noir in Franciacorta, with aging that exceeds 70 months. The Riserva Francesco Iacono is a tribute to diversity.

Ratings & Reviews

91+ Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:

"The 2004 Franciacorta Francesco Iacono Dosaggio Zero Riserva (the bottle was disgorged in 2012) shows warm aromas of butter croissant, apricot, caramel, baking spice and roasted nuts. The classic 2004 vintage is one of finesse and staying power. A persistent vein of minerality frames the wine’s medium, creamy finish. Despite its many years in the making, this elegantly aged Franciacorta tastes much younger than it really is. Drink: 2014-2018." - Monica Larner (Dec 2013)
