About the Winery:
Crescere Wines was founded in 2016 by the Reynoso family in collaboration with renowned winemaker and Bordeaux native Philippe Melka.

Every Crescere wine is created using techniques, both old and new, that highlight their sites of origin and pure varietal expression. Each wine offers those seeking both authenticity and discovery an opportunity to enjoy some of the best expressions of Sonoma’s diverse terroir.

Tasting Notes:
Spring jumps from the glass, giving you a mix of wild berries: mulberry, cranberry and strawberry married with blood orange as you bend your nose in for your first inhalation. The wine begins to open up as it breathes to show notes of rose petal, tarragon, fresh oregano, eventually giving way to undertones of fresh leather and flint. All of this can be found on the palate in abundance, and every sip has us noticing something new. It’s a wine that’s immensely enjoyable on its own but makes you dream of all the fun things you can cook along side it.

Food Pairing:
Roast Pork tenderloin with sour cherries and wine soaked mushrooms over wild rice

Ratings & Reviews

93 Points - James Suckling:
Aromas of cherries, redcurrants, peppercorns, smoke and sweet spices. It’s medium-bodied with sleek tannins and fresh acidity. Wonderfully fresh and juicy with sweet redcurrant character on the mid-palate and a crunchy, vibrant finish. Drink or hold.

93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
The 2018 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard is cut from the same cloth, with slightly softer notes of mulberries, sassafras, charcoal, and black tea. Medium to full-bodied, elegant, and straight-up seamless on the palate, it’s another tiny production (91 cases) Pinot Noir I’d love to drink. It should keep for 5-7 years or more. (Drink between 2022-2030)
