Ratings & Reviews

97 Points - Wine Enthusiast:
"This seductive wine is one of the first releases from Dan Kosta's new winery. It packs a flavor punch while staying balanced and appetizing. Deep, rich black-fruit flavors and a warm, generous mouthfeel make a great combination in this full-bodied, ripe-tasting and moderately tannic wine. Best from 2025-2032.” – Jim Gordon (Jul 2023)

94 Points - Decanter Magazine:
"A classically-fashioned Russian River Pinot Noir with a warmer, rounder profile as compared to Convene's Sonoma Coast label from winemaker Shane Finley and vintner Dan Kosta. Super perfumed notes of rose petals, conifer and mocha along with Asian spices and smoky clove. The medium-bodied palate is infused with black cherry, pomegranate, cola spices, and black truffle. Cedar-rich tannins possess a caramelised sweetness. Beautifully vibrant finish redolent of blood orange cut through by grapefruit zest. Such a crowd-pleaser." – Jonathan Cristaldi (Feb 2024)

94 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2021 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is ripe with classic and refined aromas of cherry liqueur, cola, sweet spice, and dark soil. Generous and well-balanced, it hits that fine line between ripe and not heavy. It’s very well done, offering a lot of charm, and it never gets cloying. It’s a fantastic appellation wine to drink over the next 5-7 years.” – Audrey Frick (Jun 2024)
