Notes from the Winemaker:
VARIETY : Pinot Noir 100%. Average age: 20 to 40 years.
SITUATION : Limestone-clay (Kimmeridgian marls) soils. Exposure to the South-South-West.
VINIFICATION : The grapes are received using gravity, sorted, pneumatically pressed as whole berries. Fermented in temperature controlled inox tanks, bottled from spring onwards.
PRODUCTION : 20 000 bottles / year.
TASTING NOTES : Its very pale colour and its aromatic finesse ensures that it does not feel out of place amongst the greatest of rosé wines. Serve chilled, it will be an enchanting companion to your meal, or as an aperitif. Drink young.
Ratings & Reviews
90 Points - Vinous Media:
"Extremely light pink. Fresh, mineral-accented aromas of raspberry, white peach and musky flowers on the perfumed nose. Juicy and focused on the palate; lively red berry, pit fruit and honeysuckle flavors show a lithe, mineral-driven personality. On the distinctly graceful side, finishing with repeating florality and stony persistence." - Josh Raynolds (May 2016)
