About the Winery:
Château de Beaucastel has long been regarded as one of the greatest wines in France. It is notorious for its elegance, balance and ageing potential. Chateau de Beaucastel's Chateauneuf-du-Pape rouge has previously been ranked as the #1 wine on Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the Year, and made the top 10 several times. Beaucastel has an exceptional terroir at the Northern limit of Châteauneuf du Pape, exposed to the Mistral wind. All thirteen varieties of the appellation have been organically grown since the sixties.
Winemaker Notes:
Elegant, limpid, brilliant gold color. The nose reveals a magnificent, fresh, floral bouquet, dominated by delicate notes of white flowers and juicy peach. Particularly refined, the palate reveals superb freshness and a perfect balance of roundness, finesse and complexity, underpinned by fine acidity and a supple, silky texture that delicately underscore delicious peach and citrus aromas. The well-balanced finish is long-lasting, thanks to a fine bitterness that adds a delicately saline note. A very fine vintage of white Beaucastel, of great refinement.
Location:
Château de Beaucastel has 7 hectares of white varieties.
Terroir:
Molasse seabed of the Miocene period covered by diluvial alpine deposits (rolled pebbles).
Aging:
Handpicked in small cases, sorting of the grapes, pneumatic pressing, settling of the juice, fermentation (30% in oak barrels, 70% in tanks) for 8 months. Bottling after 8 months.
Varietals:
Roussanne 80%, Grenache Blanc 15%, Picardan, Clairette, Bourboulenc 5%

Ratings & Reviews
97 Points - Decanter Magazine:
"So beautifully generous on the palate, so rich but so fresh, with great salinity — really mouthwatering. That's what makes this vintage so special: generosity and freshness plus acidity and salinity makes for great vibrancy and impact. Hugely impressive."
95 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"Vibrant white peach, honeyed melon, flowers, spice, and crushed stone. Medium to full-bodied, with a fresh, focused mouthfeel, notable purity, integrated acidity, and a great finish. This beauty will drink nicely over the coming 30 years if well stored." (Drink 2025–2054)
94 Points - Wine Advocate:
"A fresh, perfumed bouquet of spices, white flowers, pear, peach and angelica. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and sappy, concluding with a long, saline and lively finish. More tensile than in the past — a strikingly pure white wine."
93 Points - Vinous Media:
"Remarkable complexity — fresh honeysuckle, herbal tea and a slice of pear with gentle cedar adding nuance. Sapid and concentrated, with a neat drive of acidity all the way through to a subtle finish of mineral and wet stone." (Drink 2026–2036)
