Notes from Winemaker Mia Klein: The blend is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petite Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, which is a little heavier on the Cabernet Sauvignon than most vintages of Bressler. The resulting wine is not shy to show its great flavor and concentration.

Dark chocolate and raspberry preserve, like a Black Forest cake; graphite, ripe plum and blueberry; butter cookie dough, cedar, caramel, orange liquor, and vanilla bean. Hightone and dark, deep flavors marry nicely for a wonderful, mouth-watering feel with a super long finish. Very enjoyable now with exciting potential for development in the bottle.

Ratings & Reviews

92 Points - Vinous Media:

"The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon emerges from the glass with a super-classic St. Helena profile of sweet red berries, mint, licorice and tobacco, all supported by silky, refined tannins. Round, sweet and accessible, the 2009 drinks well now, but has enough radiance and depth to develop nicely for a number of years. (Drink between 2013-2021) - Antonio Galloni (Nov. 2013)
